If I paid my bill online at BGE.com prior to the recent site changes, do I have to sign up again?
Yes. We introduced several new features – including security enhancements – to the new site. As such, if you previously paid your bill at BGE.com you will need to register at BGE.com, then elect to pay your bill online. You are not automatically enrolled at BGE.com or in online bill payment if you paid your bill online at BGE.com prior to June 18, 2006. You will continue to receive a paper bill until you elect to pay your bill online.
Do I have to agree to paperless billing to pay online? What if I want to receive a paper bill also?
If you sign up for Pay Online or MyCheckFree.com you must agree to discontinue your paper bill. You can still view and print your bill from your Account Home page if you choose this option. If you prefer to continue to receive paper bills, you can pay electronically through your banks website if they offer on-line billing. (Note: if you signed up for the new Pay Online service, and you want to start receiving a paper bill again, you must remove your account from the online bill payment on BGE.com)

This allows you to identify different types of bank accounts or names of banks that you use to pay your bills on line. (Examples: Savings, Checking, Bank name, etc.)
Ive paid my bill, but it still appears on the eBilling Home page. What should I do?
After you pay a bill, use the Move to Past Bills button from the eBilling Home page. Otherwise, when more than one bill is displayed, the Payment Amount that shows on the Pay Bills page will show the previous bill amount. You can view past bills by selecting the Past Bills link on the left navigation menu.
Where can I find my payment history?
You can view up to 12 months of payment history from the Account History page (available from your Account Home page).
A Payment History page is also available via the left navigation menu on the eBilling Home page. It provides online payment information for the last 12 months. However, online payment records will only begin to accumulate from the time the new Pay Online site was implemented on June 18, 2006. If you paid your BGE bill online prior to the recent site changes, you will not find payments prior to June 18, 2006 listed on the Payment History page. Those payments will be listed from the Account History page mentioned earlier.
How do I remove my account from online bill payment?

Unfortunately no, because we will automatically debit your checking account on the bill due date. If you pay online, this would result in your paying twice.
I am a BGEasy customer but I no longer want to receive a paper bill. What can I do?
Unfortunately, we do not offer paperless billing for BGEasy customers at this time. However, we intend to offer this feature in the near future.
