Community Support Funds
Working in partnership with the Baltimore Community Foundation and other community agencies, BGE is a strong supporter of programs that help customers with financial and energy management challenges maintain their electric and gas service.
Volunteerism
BGE is a giving company and so are the more than 3,000 employees who work for us. Employees engage in countless ways to support local communities and non-profit organizations to make a social impact.
Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity
Last year more than 80 BGE employees volunteered to help Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity rebuild dozens of homes in the Monument-McElderry-Fayette community. The partnership continues as part of a five-year plan.

Penny Round-Up is an easy way you can provide financial assistance to families that find it hard to pay their utility bills. Penny Round-Up allows you to add as much as a dollar a month to your BGE bill to help support the work of the Fuel Fund of Maryland.
