FERC Transmission Tariff

Effective July 9, 1996, Baltimore Gas & Electric implemented FERC-jurisdictional open access transmission tariffs that are in compliance with FERC's Order 888. As of April 1, 1997 all requests in the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland (PJM) control area for transmission service will be taken on the PJM Interconnection Association's OASIS Web site. This site can be accessed at http://oasis.pjm.com

To request transmission service from the PJM Power Pool, an entity must follow the instructions on the PJM Web site http://www.pjm.com for transmission service under the PJM Tariff & Transmission Services Application Information menu option.

To be able to buy, sell, or bid energy from the PJM Power Pool, an entity must follow the instructions on the PJM Web site http://www.pjm.com for pool membership under the PJM Agreement & Application Process menu option.

BGE does not take any actions with respect to discounts for transmission service because BGE's facilities are operated by PJM and service provided according to the terms of the PJM Tariff. PJM is responsible for discounts of transmission service. Please see the PJM Web site for more information.
