BGE Offers Flexible Payment Plans to Qualifying Customers
Please be aware that the temporary delay in service termination implemented by the Maryland Public Service Commission in March has ended. To ensure that customers with past due accounts can still receive service, BGE is providing flexible payment plans. Customers are encouraged to call us to ask about a plan, as failure to do so may result in termination of service. If after contacting BGE, a payment plan cannot be arranged, customers may contact the Maryland Public Service Commission to appeal, which will suspend the termination process until the dispute is resolved.
Financial Assistance
BGE encourages limited income customers to seek financial assistance through their local Maryland Office of Home Energy Programs (OHEP). If you’ve already received a grant from the Maryland OHEP this year, please contact the Fuel Fund of Maryland for additional assistance, by calling 410-821-3022.
