Medical Plans
Employees can choose from a variety of medical plans - traditional indemnity plans, a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), and several Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), depending on where they live. All plans cover generally the same medical services including prescription drugs.

Dental Plans
We offer a choice of two dental plans - the MetLife Fee Schedule plan or the MetLife PPO plan. Both plans generally cover the same dental services; however, only the MetLife PPO plan covers orthodontic services and periodontal surgical services.

Vision Plans
Employees have the option of two vision plans - the Spectera Vision Plan or the Eye Care Plan of America (ECPA) Discount Plan. The Spectera Vision Plan covers vision care services for a small co-pay when a network provider is used and provides reimbursements for a portion of the employee’s cost when an out-of-network provider is used. Under the ECPA Plan, employees can save 10–60% on the cost of vision care when a provider in ECPA’s extensive nationwide network is used.

Disability Plan - Sick and Short-Term Disability Benefits
Sick and Short-Term Disability Benefits
Employees with less than 5 years of service may be eligible to receive 100% of their base pay for up to 26 weeks if they become unable to work due to a non-work related illness or injury.

Disability Insurance Benefits
If an employee is unable to work for more than 26 weeks due to a non-work related illness or injury and they have purchased Disability Insurance, they may be eligible to receive up to 50% or 60% of their Basic Monthly Earnings tax-free, depending on which coverage option is selected.

Flexible Spending Accounts for Health Care and Dependent Care
Employees can save money by paying for eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses with before-tax dollars. Contributions made to these accounts are deducted from the employee’s pay before taxes are deducted, reducing taxable income.

Life Insurance - Employee and Family
Employees want to provide financial security for their designated beneficiaries. In the event of an employee’s death, the company provides a basic amount of life insurance to employees at no cost. Employees can also purchase supplemental coverage at group rates. The company also offers life insurance coverage for an employee’s dependents (spouse and/or children).

Employee Savings Plan
Employees have the opportunity to participate in an Employee Savings Plan, which is designed to help them save for retirement and other long-term goals. The Plan allows employees to make before-tax and after-tax contributions. In addition, the company matches $0.50 for every dollar contributed by the employee up to the first 6% of eligible pay. If an employee retires or leaves the company, they can withdraw their entire account balance since they are always 100% vested in their account. There is a one month waiting period before an employee can enroll in the plan.

Pension Plan
The company also offers employees a Pension Plan to help them achieve their financial retirement goals. The Plan is a “non-contributory” defined benefit plan, which means that the employee makes no contributions to the Plan. The pension benefit is determined by a Plan formula and is fully paid for by the company.

Educational Assistance
Employees can take advantage of the educational assistance and career guidance programs, which assist employees in advancing careers and education. Through the education assistance program, eligible employees can receive up to 100% reimbursement for tuition and fees for approved graduate and undergraduate courses.

Vacation
Paid vacation time is a benefit of employment. Employees accrue vacation time using an earn-as-you-work formula. The amount of paid vacation time that an employee is eligible for is based on the years of service.
