Penny Round-Up

Penny Round-Up is a program that can make a big difference for your neighbors in need. This is an easy, effortless way you can provide financial assistance to families that find it hard to pay their utility bills.

Penny Round-Up allows you to round up your monthly BGE payment to the nearest dollar with these pennies going to the Fuel Fund of Maryland. Budget Billing customers can round up their bill a full dollar.

The Fuel Fund of Maryland is a non-profit that provides emergency assistance for low-income families, and people in crisis, who cannot pay their gas, electric or oil bills, as well as assistance with wood, kerosene, and propane. Over 18,000 Central Maryland people received support from the Fuel Fund last year.
