Accidents and fatalities in construction work zones are on the rise!

  • 40,000 people are injured each year in work zones vehicle crashes (both workers and drivers)
  • Three work zone deaths occur each day
  • One work zone injury occurs every 9 minutes
  • 100 flaggers are killed each year
