Maryland law requires that anyone planning to dig must notify MISS UTILITY at least 48 hours prior to digging (excluding weekends and holidays). A representative will mark underground facilities to protect you against the danger of accidental contact with our wires, gas or electrical equipment.

Call toll free at 1-800-257-7777. Anyone who fails to comply with MISS UTILITY laws is subject to a civil penalty of up to $1,000 or ten times the cost of repairs.
