BGE meter readers use hand-held computers to read meters on or around the same date every month. Our meter readers wear BGE uniforms and carry identification to show you upon request. If you have any doubts about someone who claims to be a BGE meter reader, obtain the meter reader's employee number from his or her badge and call us for verification:
