At Baltimore Gas & Electric Company (BGE), our goal is to attract the best talent, develop skills through specialized training and challenging assignments, and retain strong, motivated performers who enjoy working for a growing, vital company.
To find the best candidates, BGE has developed programs specifically designed for students. Participants will have the unique opportunity to work for one of the nation’s oldest gas and electric distribution companies, and enjoy the excitement of working in a progressive and changing energy business.
Whether you are in high school, college or attend a trade school, BGE programs provide students with the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain meaningful work experience while earning a competitive wage. Participants are given the chance to demonstrate and apply academic learning and build valuable relationships with BGE leaders, employees and other students.
Students who join BGE and perform well will be encouraged to return to take on new assignments. As you expand your education and knowledge, you will progress through a variety of positions. Each new experience will provide hands-on training and skills development.
