BGE is installing or upgrading approximately two million electric and gas meters in every home and small business in our service area through the end of 2014.
You will receive a postcard a few weeks before we upgrade your meters. If your meters are outdoors and accessible, you will not need to take any action. If one or both meters are indoors, or your outdoor meter is inaccessible (e.g. behind a locked gate), please call us at 855.470.8800 to schedule an appointment. After we have completed the installation, we’ll leave behind a door hanger to confirm the meter upgrade and provide a contact number if you have any questions.
Towns listed are for purposes of map orientation only, they are not an inclusive list. Meters will be installed across the entire shaded area at the designated time.
