BALTIMORE (Sept. 26, 2019) – As part of its effort to strengthen its leadership team and continue delivering distinctive customer service with safe and reliable energy, BGE announces the following leadership changes that are effective January 1, 2020.
Rodney Oddoye has been promoted to senior vice president of Governmental and External Affairs, leading the company's legislative initiatives throughout Maryland.
Oddoye joined the company in 2003 and has held leadership positions in the customer operations, electric distribution, and finance organizations. Oddoye is currently chief customer officer; he previously served as director of regional electric operations and also led BGE's financial operations organization responsible for the company's long-range planning efforts and execution of yearly financial plans. Oddoye earned an electrical engineering and physics degree from the University of Maryland and Washington College and a master's degree in business administration from Loyola University Maryland. He is active in the community, serving on several boards, including the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, Baltimore Center Stage, the State Theater of Maryland, and the Center for Urban Families.
Joining BGE as senior vice president of Customer Operations and chief customer officer will be Tamla Olivier, who is currently president and CEO of BGE HOME and senior vice president of Constellation. Olivier joined Constellation in 2010 as executive director of Human Resources and was promoted to vice president in 2013, overseeing all human resources efforts for Constellation's commercial retail and wholesale businesses, as well as enterprise risk management for Exelon. In 2016, Olivier was promoted into her current role at BGE HOME, where she has been responsible for guiding and growing one of the largest home energy service operations in the nation. Olivier serves as co-chair of the women's council for My Sister's Place Women's Center. She also serves on the boards of directors of the Partners in Excellence Scholarship program, the Ronald McDonald House of Maryland and Catholic Charities.
Alexander Núñez, currently senior vice president of Regulatory and External Affairs, is rotating into a new position, senior vice president of Strategy and Regulatory Affairs where he will oversee BGE's expansion of customer offerings including new products and services. Núñez joined the company in 2001 and previously served as the company's vice president of governmental and external affairs, director of state affairs, senior public affairs representative and Annapolis counsel. Núñez is vice-president of the Walters Art Museum Board of Trustees and chairs its engagement committee. He also serves on the board of directors of the Baltimore chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education. Additionally, Núñez serves as an appointee on the Governor's Workforce Development board and the Governor's Commission on Hispanic Affairs.

Oddoye, Olivier and Núñez will report to Butler.
